Thanks to all who shared their support, after last week's disaster. I've started to feel a little bit better since then. It means a lot.

I still can't do anything about my car until next week, but I still expect things to improve over time.

I'm starting to get back into drawing and such. I know there's not been much new content posted lately, and I'm going to get back into the swing of things once everything else I need to take care of is settled.

I have great people showing their support for me, and I am very grateful for it.

Hello, Everyone

Due to a sudden issue with the car I was driving on my way to Anthrocon back on Tuesday, it is with a heavy heart that I will have to miss out on this year's AC.

Before leaving the convention, everything seemed good to go. I had everything saved up for the con, everything packed, fursuit cleaned, and I was really excited when I left. I was able to do an errand for a fellow fur along the way. After completing the errand, my next stop was Upstate New York. I was going to see a baseball game there and meet the team's mascots. I was also going to spend the night in Albany before making my way to Pittsburgh the following day. However, we had a sudden instance happen with the car I was driving. I had it towed to a nearby automotive center. Because they had so many other cars booked to have service done before mine, they couldn't work to find the problem. I then had to have the car towed back home. Because of the distance, it cost a lot to get the car back home. A good portion of the money I saved up for AC went to getting the car towed back home. After looking at other options in getting to Pittsburgh, such as taking Greyhound or Amtrak, I was left with only one option left. Therefore, I had to make the difficult decision to cancel my trip to this year's Anthrocon.

I am personally very heartbroken by this because I had planned and saved up for this convention for several months. I was looking forward to performing again at "Anthrocon Tonight" like I did last year, meeting and commissioning artists there, seeing people I was looking forward to seeing, being in the fursuit parade, and other things at the con, as well as to and from the con. I also know those who were looking forward to seeing me are going to be disappointed with this sudden no-show, since I've received comments from those going looking forward to seeing me there.

According to the person who towed my car back home, he suspects the problem might be with a CV axle, and that it can be fixed. However, I can't get it fixed until my Uncle gets back from Cape Cod. As for any future events I plan to attend, such as Popcult Anime Con, Furpocalypse, Anthro New England, etc., should anything come up to affect my plans to go, I'll let everyone know.

Once again, I am deeply sorry for not being able to go to Anthrocon this year. I wish those going to have a fun and safe weekend there. I also hope to be able to see others at future events. I am doing whatever I can to ensure that the problem with the car will be fixed as soon as possible, and I can make it to other events planned.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Normally, I don’t bring up anything related to politics on these PaWS pages, as they are not meant for them. It’s only when I feel that it’s absolutely necessary to do so that I would share anything related to politics on these pages. This would be one of those times I feel I should share a message like this.

The recent crisis happening in Ukraine is highly devastating. It’s a war that no one wanted, it’s a war that no one has asked for, and it’s a war that no one needed or deserved. War is not the solution to anything. It has never been helpful for anything in the past, it is not helpful to anything now, and it’s never going to be helpful for anything. All war does is result in harm. What’s the point of starting war if nothing good will come out of it? It was a horrible decision that never needed to be decided on.

Ukraine is not the only country this conflict is hurting. It’s hurting Russia as well, a country with a president that made the horrible choice to go to war. From the Russian ruble sliding down in value, becoming less valuable than a US penny, to companies, organizations, and other entities withdrawing their association with the country, the decision to go to war was unspeakably horrendous.

I can’t blame all of Russia and everything else associated with the nation for this time of conflict. I’m aware that there are innocent citizens of Russia who are also deeply distraught with the decision their president has made, and I absolutely feel for them. Therefore, I cannot condemn them or their views. I am condemning Vladmir Putin’s decision to go to war, regardless of which nation he wants to go after. This war simply has no place in this world.

I sincerely hope this war ends soon. All who have been affected by this war, especially the people of Ukraine, have a place in my heart, and I pray that these people can live in peace and happiness again. I want everyone to stay strong during these times of turmoil. I am grateful for everyone who has expressed their thoughts about this crisis, and for their efforts in generating relief to all who’ve been affected. We stand together in denouncing and condemning this war against Ukraine.
